TEAM/BOARD

LIFT Leadership Team

Sandy Boetteger – Director

Sandy praises God for including her in His work when He wrote I Cor. 1:26, “Not many… wise are chosen.”  It is not out of low self-esteem, but from recognition that without Him she can do nothing.  Since accepting Jesus as her Savior at the age of seven, every calling on her life has been a step of faith, including her position on the LIFT Team.  Five years ago, after several years as a volunteer leader at Trinity Bible Church, Phoenix, she joined the staff as Director of Women’s Ministry.  Aside from her personal roles as wife, mother of two, and grandmother of six, ministry to women has been the most rewarding adventure.  She says, “I am humbled that God would call me, trust me, and choose to use me in blessing others.  It is with great excitement that I choose to cooperate with God in helping ‘encourage and equip’ other women’s ministry leaders.” BoettgerSandy@cs.com

Barb Brokaw — Treasurer

Barb has served in women’s ministries for almost twenty years, much of that time being equipped and encouraged by the ministry of LIFT.  As an event speaker, small group facilitator, and writer, her focus is the freedom we are given in our walk with Christ.  She is currently active in Bible Study and Women’s Ministries leadership at Open Door Fellowship Church.  Along with JT, her husband of thirty-four years, Barb also helps to co-ordinate premarital classes.  They have two grown sons, two beautiful daughters-in-law, and two precious grandchildren.  Music and prayer are vital to Barb’s life.  She is passionate about God’s Word and its transforming power.
