Statement of Faith
- We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of
God. (II Tim 3:16-17, Ps12:6, Num 23:19, John 17:17) - We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and
Holy Spirit. (John 1:1-4, 6:27, 14:16-17, I Cor 3:16, I Peter 1:2-3) - We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless
life, in His atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His
ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal return in power and glory.
(Luke 12:40, John 1:1, I Cor 15:3-8, 2 Cor 5:21, Gal 4:4-5, Eph I:20-23, Titus 2:13, I Peter 2:22, I John 3:5, Rev
22:12) - We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit who convicts, regenerates, baptizes,
indwells, enlightens and empowers believers for godly living. (John14:17, 16:7-11, 13, Acts
1:8, I Cor 2:10, 12:13, Eph 1:17-20, 3:14-19, Titus 3:4-7, I John 4:12) - We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned in Adam
and that he is now a sinner by nature and by choice. (Gen 1:26-27, Ro 3:23, 5:8, 12) - We believe in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. (Eph 2:4-9, Titus 3:4-7))
- We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost:
* they that are saved unto the resurrection of life
* they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. (John 5:28-29) - We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. (Ro 12:16, Eph
4:3-4, Phil 1:27, 2:2)
