Vicki Voyce — Director

Vicki served as Director of Women’s Ministry for 15 years. Graduating from ASU with a degree in Education, she taught elementary school for 25 years along with teaching workshops and providing ongoing teacher training for her school district. Being a lifelong learner, training is something she values. That’s why she has loved being a part of LIFT for the past 20 years; seeking to continually grow and learn as she leads in different ministries. She has served on the AZ Southern Baptist Women’s Conference Team and serves as the Welcome Lead for Arise Movement PHX. Spending time with her three married adult children and six grandchildren, all of whom live in the same neighborhood, brings her great joy. She is passionate about serving the Lord and encouraging women of all ages and stages of life. Her desire is to “Love each other with brotherly affection and take delight in honoring each other. Never be lazy in your work, but serve the Lord enthusiastically. “ (TLB)

Cinda Adams – Prayer Coordinator

Cinda has served the Lord alongside Dennis, her husband of 50 years. She has supported, encouraged, and mentored women where God sent them. Cinda knows the hearts of women and God has used her gifts to help women seek the presence, direction, and strength of the Lord in their lives. Cinda has been encouraged daily by Philippians 4:6-7: Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

She is the mother of two sons and 8 grandchildren. Cinda’s experience as mom to her sons was the springboard for founding APPS for iMom’s. APPS is an acronym for Application, Prayer, Practical and Support for moms. The heartbeat of this ministry was prayer! She enlisted grandmothers to mentor young moms and great-grandmothers to pray for the moms. Cinda was also on the Woman’s Coordinating Team at North Phoenix that planned statewide women’s retreats. She has served as a leader to women in many ways over the years. She has involved with LIFT since 2000. LIFT has been a source of inspiration, growth, and fellowship.

She is delighted to serve as prayer coordinator. Prayer is the heartbeat of Cinda’s life. When you ask her to pray for you, you can be confident she will pray.

Pat Cannon – Membership & Registration Coordinator/ LIFT Treasurer

Pat has been married to her husband for 42 years and has one grown son. She loves to travel with her husband and to visit her family on the east coast. She retired from the telephone company after 31 years and subsequently served on a Women’s Ministry leadership team for14 years and continues to serve in her church as well as several ministries in the community. As a longtime member of LIFT she shares the desire of the LIFT leaders to equip and encourage women who are serving in their churches and the community to grow in their faith and in their ministries.

Pat Johnson – Hospitality Coordinator

Pat Johnson has been married for 52 years to Vince and has two married adult children and four grandchildren. She received her Elementary Education degree from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. Pat has served in many leadership roles! She has served on various Board positions for the Air Force Officer’s Wives Club, Former NPHX Church Preschool Director, Conference leader and curriculum writer for Southern Baptists along with Coordinating Arizona Baptist Women’s Conferences. Pat has currently been a leader in Women’s Ministry, Bible Study Teacher and leader in MOPS ministries. She has been a Christ follower for 65 years and continues to pray that others see Jesus in her.

Liana Swayzee- Event Support Team

Liana graduated from Grand Canyon University with an Education Degree. She is now a retired school teacher. She is married to Shawn and they have two married children. Liana has been involved in Women’s Ministry for many years. Liana and her husband attend Mission Valley Church in Phoenix where Liana is on the Women’s Ministry Team.

Susan Lollar – Event Support Team

A Christian since 1975, Susan has followed her heart and served in some capacity since that time to bring others the hope she has received from having God in her life. Psalms 139 has been the cornerstone of her faith. Knowing that God has known everything about her from the day He formed her and that she is fearfully and wonderfully made, has gotten her through the many trials and hurts in her life. She has used that verse as the basis for her life and the ministries she has been a part of through the years. She started Secrets of the Heart ministry for sexually abused women when she lived in New York and now serves in many ministries in Phoenix. In her 20 years of serving the Lord she has been a Church board member, Women’s Ministry and Bible Study Coordinator, a member of a Multi-state retreat committee, and is currently serves on the Arise Team. Her desire is her passion for Women’s Ministry and seeing the wonderful transformation women undergo when they realize the truth found in Psalm 139:14.

Jeanne Saxon – LIFT Area Networking Coordinator

Jeanne Saxon is the mother of two: Heather Saxon and Court Saxon. She is the oldest of 6 children and a native of Phoenix. Jeanne was married in Phoenix, then moved to San Diego. The past 28 years she has lived in Albuquerque, but recently made a permanent move to Scottsdale.

Jeanne loves to work with women and has presented numerous kinds of programs to corporations, a variety of women’s organizations and churches. She has also been a leader in women’s ministries, bible studies and MOPS. Jeanne has been Chair more than once and held many other positions with Stonecroft Ministries, an international organization that is celebrating 85 years this year. She is currently an active Speaker.

Jeanne was professionally trained in San Diego in image consulting and color analysis and loves to help women find their personal style and cheers them on to feel their best. She has also studied singing and music most of her life and it is an important part of her ministry.

Jennifer Sorcinelli – Church & Speaker Liaison

Jennifer believes in looking to see where God is already at work and joining in. She is thankful to be a part of LIFT where God is clearly equipping and encouraging women for His kingdom cause. Jennifer has been married to her wonderful husband Lee for 32 years and they have one adult son. Her desire is to be used by God to lead women to a saving knowledge of Himself and to encourage them in the freedom He provides. She was involved with ministries for women at The Church
at Arrowhead for many years and also finds great joy and is humbled to get to serve regularly at a women’s group home in downtown Phoenix. Since moving to Prescott a couple years ago, is attending Canyon Bible Church of Prescott. Jennifer’s life verse is Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. Sondra Wetzel – Admin Assistant

Sondra describes herself as an “almost Arizona native” having moved from Pennsylvania in 1955. She earned her BSBA from University of Phoenix and retired in 2001 after 35 years at Motorola. Currently Ministry Support Director at Mesa Baptist Church, Sondra stays busy as a leader in the Church’s Women’s Ministry, as First Impression Team Coordinator, and member of VCNSW Women’s Retreat Team. Sondra loves to travel and has visited foreign places such as Asia, Philippines, Africa, United Kingdom, and Eastern Europe. Her travels have afforded her many opportunities to encourage women as they grow in their faith. As a member of LIFT for the past 3 years she loves to volunteer to fill a need wherever it may be. Hebrews 11:1 “Faith shows the reality of what we hope for, it is the evidence of things we cannot see” is her heart verse.
